Harmony

The Harmony was the first GE washer and dryer system with a user touch screen and a visual look that created a unified pair or system. A key design feature, the washer electronically communicating to the dryer, the electronic sensing system helped reduce the chore of doing laundry. This was achieved through advanced sensors and a system approach between the washer and dryer. A large amount of user heuristics, development and testing went into the UI for understanding / maximizing the user benefits of the touchscreen.
